Heartburn

Am 14 weeks pregnant and its been rough. Was hospitalized for a week due to a bad uti and on bedrest for three weeks which I put on weight. Am struggling with heartburn, any advice?

Are you taking anything for the heartburn? Heartburn is the worst.

I had horrible heartburn the whole pregnancy. I had to get back on my daily PPI, so talk to your OB about this and get on one that they're okay with you taking for the duration.

I didn't have many issues during pregnancy other than morning sickness and food aversions but afterward I had a very bad UTI and THREE back to back rounds of mastitis. Yuck.

I hope it gets easier for you. Definitely talk to your doctor about getting onto Prilosec or something. It helped me a lot, and even with that I still needed Tums on occasion in the evening.
