Surgery was June 3. Can I get on a plane?

Why not?

Most people who do medical tourism (who go to Mexico) have to fly home 2 or 3 or 4 days post op. It's part of the deal. I can't imagine why you wouldn't be fine. Remember to take an empty water bottle to fill, or buy water to take on the airplane. Don't rely on the flight service. Have fun!

I had surgery in Dallas, we were living out of state. I flew home at 2 weeks out. Whether I flew or we drove home, the doctor wanted me up walking, around the car or up and down the isle a couple of times....once every hour. It's about circulation and deep vein thrombosis. (sp?) There should be no reason why you can't but for the first six weeks, this was my doctor's instructions.

I was 2 weeks out and flew to California from Dallas for work and had no issue.
