Gallbladder Surgery!

I'm 6 months post op today and down 67 pounds (which I think is fantastic). I had complications with surgery where I was hospitalized for weeks.

Now I have gallstones and they are becoming too painful to not deal with them. So surgery is scheduled for next week.

Because of the complications with the sleeve - I'm terrified I'll end up back in the hospital for weeks again. Mentally and physically I can't handle anymore pain. Anyone had the surgery after being sleeved?? How did it go?

I cannot say after the sleeve, but I had my gall bladder taken out 4 months and 4 days after my lap band was put in. I can say that recovery was much easier and quicker. I had it on Wednesday and was back to work on Monday. I was up and cleaning my house 1 day post op. You will be able to get through it much quicker than the sleeve. Compared to being sleeved, my gall bladder removal was a piece of cake!
