I'm just curious how long you had to wait (per dr.'s instructions) before you moved to mushies?

I was banded on December 18th and I cannot advance my diet to mushies until my follow up visit on January 11th. Ho-hum....

Two weeks after surgery I was allowed the softest of mushies and then ate mushies for two weeks progressing to well cooked food of any kind chewed REALLY REALLY well.

Every Dr is different though, go with what yours has advised

Three weeks for me.

4 weeks after surgery I was allowed mushies, 5th week was solid food

Are "Cracker Jacks" mushies? :hippie:

I was banded on December 19th and can't go to the mushy stage until after my post-op appointment on January 3rd. We'll see what the doc says!
