Hi Everyone,

I was banded on Dec 22nd, by Dr. Fox at Auburn Regional Medical Center in Washington State.

Today, I have some pain on my left side were the port is but, other than that I'm feeling pretty good.

I'm glad that there is a great support group out here and looking forward to being part of it.

Banded 12/22 in TN. Finding a comfortable sleeping position / place has been my biggest challenge. The pain has been typical surgery pain. I do burp more than I thought. Found GasX strips that melt in my mouth. My surgeon required a liquid diet prior to surgery. I'm glad, it got me started on my journey. Lost 8lbs. I am starting to feel a little not satisfied with the clear liquid diet. My instructions move to a liquid diet 8th day for 30 days. I've seen several ideas on foods on the forum. Keep them coming.
