Compliance with Rules

So I know that at least two of the band rules apply to the sleeve - don't drink carbonated bev. And don't drink while eating. I have had a horrible time following the latter with my band. I am just wondering if any of you had similar difficulties following these rules when you were banded, and how you manage to follow them now that you are sleeved, or do you????

I was never banded, but this drove the point home for me: Why You Shouldn't Drink With Meals

I follow the rules with the sleeve because I refuse to fail this time. My goal with the band was not for my health. I am hell bent on becoming healthy and succeeding becoming the new me. I've never wanted health before skinny and this time I do. It's a whole different ball game this time. If one doesn't plan to succeed by following the guidelines.. Then one most likely will fail

Not. Me. :D

I didn't get 85% of my stomach removed to break the rules.

I always followed that rule, with the band and with the sleeve. Don't want any problems. Always sip some Water before meals and then between meals.

Is really a non issue after all this time.
