Having a hard day. :(

I was sleeved on May 30 and am on full liquids. I was handling everything okay until today. Today I am incredibly irritable, and tired and I'm sick of Soup, Protein shakes, Jello, pudding, and yogurt. I'm sure some of this is in my head but it's making me sad. My fiance is doing his best to be supportive but he definitely doesn't fully understand.

I am sorry for complaining...I guess I am just hoping to hear from some of you that are further along in your journey with any advice for staying positive and getting through the rough days. Thanks!

I'm so there with you right now --- my surgery date was 5/31. Can't wait to add something, anything new to the menu!!! I spent quite a bit of time reading posts today from folks who are 2, 3, 4 + weeks out to see how they are doing and am comforted that it will get better pretty soon. This is just the toughest part --- hardest thing I've ever done. Hang in there!

I was there too- i had to do 2 weeks preop with only protein shakes and jello and then it continued for 2.5 weeks after surgery- im now almost 3 weeks out and was cleared for soft food- there's definitely a light at the end of the tunnel! it'll be here before you know it. You just gotta give your new stomach some time to heal :)
