i have the mirena IUD and do not plan on having more kids. however, according to the literature, return to fertility should occur with the next menstrual cycle. Good luck!!

Thanks Tink 12/26 where can I find that literature I would like to educate myself... :)

I read it in the patient handout that I got when the IUD was placed. Maybe check their website? Best of luck!

I got pregnant a couple or three months after mine was removed. That pregnancy ended in miscarriage then we decided to go back to using protection for a long time.

I got pregnant on Mirena. I read after your next cycle. I too think it was in the patient packet.
