I was sleeved in SC on May 7th, 2012 by Morris j. Washington, MD. He was an outstanding Doctor. I am down 110 lbs and doing great.

I was sleeved in NC in February but live in SC! Down 63 lbs since start of my pre op diet. Would be great to have a SC support system!!

I am glad you guys are out there. I am down 28 lbs as of today. Things are going well so I am encouraged. Working on protein like crazy and drinking comes easier so I put protein in everything. I put the liquid in every smoothie and powder where I can. But it is getting easier each day. Let's keep in touch. Blessings, Melody

Hi all! I'm 1 week pre op today and in central SC!

I live in Columbia and I'm still in the pre-op stage without a surgery date yet. Will probably be early August. Would love to have folks that have been there and done that to talk to!

Well it will be here before you know it! Did you have to do a liquid diet? I am in puréed and I am creative so it has not been difficult. Because I became gluten free a few years ago, I am used to being prepared with food and meals before I go anywhere. So same here - be prepared. Wishing well for you! Blessings ~ Melody
