6 days post-op

I have to admit I haven't done much since surgery. I had a ton of nausea, was lightheaded, and just plain felt like crap! I've been telling myself to suck it.. So far so good. Lol. Anyway.. Protein shakes are a complete turnoff. I want to gag just thinking of them. I haven't had a lot of fluids either, all things I'm focusing on today whether I like it or not. I just want to eat real food, but know I'm not allowed yet. :(

Ps.. Lost 9lbs and actually got a little nervous. Lol

It gets better! (I'm 3mos post) I really couldn't get protein till time 2-3weeks out. It was so heavy in my stomach, an i felt like it was sitting in my chest, I had to force them down. Keep up the good work!

Iso[ure protein shakes are much lighter. You may want to give them a try! I hope you feel better soon! Hang in there and don't loose hope!

It won't be long before this is behind you. Keep reminding yourself this is a blip on the timeline of life.
