hello all!

any couples out there who have gotten or are getting vsg together? my wife and i got married in september 2012 and are both in the process of getting sleeved this fall. my bmi is 62 (ugh) and hers is 57. have you had any issues with insurance companies that woudnt take both claims or any snags in the process we should be aware of? thanks so much! i love the info we are getting from this site!

My husband was sleeved Monday and I am scheduled to have the procedure July 1st. Were any of the wives/husbands a bit scared after watching their spouse go through surgery?

I had my done 1st on May 13th. Then my husband had his 9 days later! He saw me struggle at first and said it would be so easy for him. Men! lol Wrong! He was just like me! He wanted to sleep all the time for the 1st week. Congrats to you both! No regret! I've lost 25 pounds since surgery and my husband has lost 30 pounds!

We will be going together, but our surgeon recommends 6 weeks apart.

Hi! I'm guessing sleeved on the 19th June, and my hubby is getting his in middle fall to early winter ( he is still in middle of authorizations due to a illness) we are both so excited to do this journey together!

Hi there! My husband just got sleeved june 6th and im coming up on the 27th. We have anthem blue cross ppo through his work and didnt have any trouble.

so far so good on everything here. im 3 months into things and my wife is a little more than 2. we are looking forward to all this for sure!

I was sleeved on May 22 and my husband leaves Monday to be sleeved on Tuesday in TJ. We are both self pay but I'm excited to be on this journey with him!
