Today is the day!

Well.. it's finally here! Day of surgery. I go to the hospital at 11am and will hopefully be in by around 2. Not really sure what to expect, but I'll try to keep you posted when I'm 'coherent' again! I'm nervous, but not as bad as I have been before. I dreamt I accidentally ate chips and salsa before surgery, so I was actually relieved when I woke up! Haha... have a good day everyone and I'm looking forward to joining the sleeve family SOON!

Well... hopefully the hardest part is over.... It was a pretty rough night, of dry heaving and regurgitating (i'll spare you the details) but my medical team was awesome and I'm feeling MUCH better today. Leak lest tomorrow, then hopefully home free and Popsicle time! Fingers crossed! Thanks for all your encouraging words!!!

Glad your doing well :) I had a good day with my daughter. Up with the chickens today because she had a recruiter pick her up at 5:30 am!!

Are you up and walking?

Yep! I just had a shower, not too much walking yet but that's my plan today! did you drink anything before your leak test? nothin for me until after tomorrow morning.

No, I had to wait also... At least that's the way I remember it! I was hitting the pain pump pretty hard :P

I do however remember drinking that nasty blue stuff!

Congrats! best of luck to you on this special day.

Are they giving you anti-nausea meds? They gave me some both before & after surgery.

Yeah, they pumped me full of Anti nausea stuff, but not much helped. I'm feeling better today just the occasional' 'spit up' and a pukey feeling. Tomorrow is the leak fest, so really hoping for the best!!!
