Im pre surgery

Hi I'm having the surgery in 5 days and looking for some feedback on how people are doing. Also, I'm interested in trying to figure out what I should/shouldn't eat before then. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks Cathy

As for what you should/shouldn't eat before then, your doctor should have given you a diet plan to follow. Many on here (including me) were on a strict all liquid (but high protein) diet for two weeks prior. You really need to find out what your surgeon wants you to do.

I had surgery on Wed. and am doing okay. I have some pain, but not too unbearable. I am working on sipping Water and getting some Protein in. Your doctor should also have provided you with a strict diet to follow post-op.

Sorry this isn't helpful, but it all depends on the surgeon.
