Hi...Has anyone used Dr. Macik for revision surgery (lapband to sleeve). His office did inform me he does his surgery in two phases. If so, what was your experience with him. Thanks in advance!

Hey there! I am currently a lap band patient of dr. Macik, but he did not do my band initially. I am not crazy about him, so I am looking into Emory at johns creek.

Our stats are pretty close....I am so ready to lose this weight once and for all! Hoping I can get my husband on board with my decision ( it will be self pay)

Have you moved forward with dr. Macik?

Hi Katherine

I went back to my original surgeon's office. I am really hoping to just have one surgery but I know it will have to determine the condition of my band. Insurance only covers 50/50. I am hoping to have my surgery sometime in July.
