How long did you wait until you could take a whole pill? I'm so sick of the nasty taste of pills

I guess it depends on the size of the pill and your doctor. I was taking my blood pressure pill whole the whole time.

Well both of the pills I take are capsule and not big at all. I just dread taking them in Jello...yuck

You should be able to take them. My surgeon allowed me to take pills right from the start. I have one capsule that is HUGE and I tried to swallow it and it made me "slime" which was miserable! I haven't tried that one since!

I take capsules but no tabs. Being a tough guy and half nuts I chew the tabs up no matter how bad they taste. Happily, most aren't too bad.

I take what ever I need to take, and have since surgery. My metformin was pretty big so I just broke it in half for a couple of weeks. Never have had a problem taking anything.

They gave me pills in the hospital .. Right after surgery
