Don't give up if you meet all of the qualifications. A good majority of "us" were denied at first too. I was, but I kept fighting, and I am so glad I did.

My BMI is under 40 and although I have a ton of co-conditions, I don't have the exact ones Aetna would approve. Going to appeal and hope for the best!!

I've been there. I was denied by Aetna twice. My doctor did a peer to peer review and I was still denied. I got my approval through doing an appeal. My surgery date is 5/22. DON'T GIVE UP!!!!!

Does anyone no how long it takes for the medicaid to give the approval once everything is turndd in to them?

Ill have mine turned in may 13th. But may possibly lose my card june 30th... Very scared ive went thru these test n 6mth. Dr visits :(
