Hello all!! I'm new to this blog, but happy to have found it! I'm 36 years old and roughly 100 lbs overweight. I have been approved by insurance and am scheduled for July 2. I am pretty nervous and excited at the same time. I work in surgery so maybe I know too much about that! Lol.... But, it's the recovery time that scares me a little. I'm pretty tough and a hard worker, so I plan on doing just fine. Look forward to talking to you guys. Did anyone out there go back to work after just 1 week?? That's what I'm hoping for. Any advice appreciated for either pre-op or post- op time.

Hey Beth! Welcome!! I'm scheduled for surgery next Tuesday. If all goes well I plan on going back to work on Monday. My surgeon said that it just depends on how I feel. We'll see what happens. Good luck : )
