Surgery dat May 14

Just got notice from my insc. co. that my surgery date will be May 14 at 10a. I had a lapband surgery in 2007 & lost about 75 lbs. after 14 fills, then my band prolapsed & I gained about 45 lbs back. After a lot of stomach pain & gurd I had an endoscopy & my doc said I prolapsed so I decided to go with the sleeve this time. I feel good about my decision but a bit nervous since it's going to be a much longer surgery.

John, I'm converting on the 14th, too! I'm not having any "major" issues with my band, but it's getting more "fussy." As in, everything will be fine for months and then the next day, I'm pbing. I'm also coughing more at night and just think that band is causing some irritation. I'm almost 8 yrs post-op so it's not being very effective any more either. :\

Can't say I'm 100% confident in my decision, but I'm pretty happy with it. We'll be fine. :D
