My Bowels - I Have NONE

How soon after surgery do you have a bowel movement?

I'm 5 days out and I still haven't had any bowel movement. Gas and burping yes - but no bowel at all should I be worried?

I am out of the hospital, stayed an extra day because I had a reaction to the anesthesia. Better now. Finally had a poopie, whoopee!!!!! Now onto the journey.

I went 11 days, no lie. Of course you are only really getting liquids in and if you took pain meds that could be a huge factor.
