Central New Yorkers?

My name is Megan and I was sleeved 1/14. I am down 55#s from the date of surgery. There have been health issues along the way and for a while I regretted it. Three months out and I am feeling much better. I went through Dr. Cooper at Crouse.

I am a lap-band revision. I am working with Dr. Simon at Upstate. I just received my insurance approval today! I don't have a surgery date yet. I should be hearing from them soon. So glad to see you

Thanks for the kudos and congrats on your approval. I had the lap band and got converted a couple of months later with the sleeve. The band eroded my esophagus and tore my stomach lining :-/. This has not been wonderful either, but the further out I get the better it gets. I landed in the hospital three times after surgery. Just know that this is a ton harder than the lap band, speaking honestly. But at this point I think I am getting close to saying I don't regret it. Definitely keep in touch!!
