Kefir?

I just read about this. Anyone tried it? Do you like it? It has 7G protein in 1/2 cup. I'm looking for green smoothies with protein without the powders. With Greek yogurt and this Kefir it's up to about 17G of protein. Any thoughts on the Kefir?

I've had ranch dressing made with yogurt and kefir before. I want to say it was Marie Callendars. It was in the cold dressings section by the produce. I liked it!!!

My NUT suggested I try kefir, but I haven't gotten any yet. I noticed that Lifeway makes a frozen version that might be good to try in smoothies, too.

I use it, I like it. It is a thicker drinkable yogurt. I have only tried strawberry flavor from Trader Joes. I mix 1 cup, 1 frozen banana and some ice for a smoothy. It does usually clean my system out....if u get the hint....

Overall though I like it and it is higher in protein and I disliked the powders.

Love kefir. I like sour so I get pomegranate. It's a good way to get in good bacteria.
