Lap incision

I had my gallbladder removed due to stones along with sleeve on April 1st. My gallbladder lap incision has some increasing redness & exquisitely tender. Have call in to MD. Anyone else have this issue with any lap incision or have both done at same time?

I had terrible issues with incisions. They were somewhat infected when the stitches came out. I was told to use peroxide and keep them covered. The infection went away but these were the slowest healing incisions ever. They were extremely tender, very itchy, and kind of opened up a bit. I used the peroxide for a week and then switched over to some prescription steroid cream. They finally have started to heal nicely. They don't hurt or itch anymore and only mildly tender if I accidentally poke at them. But it was an ordeal! Hang in there an just do what your Dr tells you It will heal eventually:)

My largest incision hurts and started "burning" when I was 2 weeks out. The incision itself is healed nicely so I knew it wasn't an infection. I called my doctor and they said it is most likely nerve pain. I was prescribed a medication and it went away. The only thing is I can't take the medication during the week because I can't drive while on it (it gives me real bad blurred vision and makes me slightly dizzy). So sure enough the burning sensation returned while I was at work this morning!
