6 days banded

and I am not hungry but also miss food. I don't get "full" on my Protein drinks but I do get physically satisfied.

I can drink a lot of Water my 64oz that I am supposed to.

I really am getting tired of not eating.

What did you eat 1-4wks out of surgery? I want ideas and I'd like to know if others have different doctors orders?

Thanks.

From day 3 on to day 13 (today) I have been eating a lot of soups. At first I blended each one very well, now I can have a few chunks. Corn chowder and cream of tomatoe have tasted the best. Also mashed potatoes go down well, just mix in more milk than usual. The instant ones that come boxed are pretty good. That with hot chocolate, tea and protien drinks have pretty much satisified me.

I'm 7 months post-op, and still eat soup almost every day. My first couple of week after surgery I ate Pintos and Cheese from Taco Bell.

i was banded 4 days ago but I am not hungry at all so maybe I have got it to come in the next 2 days! How long have you got to be on fluids because surgeons vary a lot. Some say after a week you can start eateng soft foods like cauliflower cheese or omlette which would make life a bit better. Unfortunately my surgeon says 2 weeks fluids only so i an on soups and slimfast!
