Calories

My nutritionist told us at post op class to not concern ourselves with how much to eat but how much is everyone able to eat comfortably with each meal. I'm 3 weeks post sleeve. I have been warned about the sliders. Chips are the devil, but I feel more hungry now than when I was only on liquids.

Mostly tuna and chicken salad, 1/2 cup at a time, I'm a snacker at heart. Hard not to now that I can have solid food.

Do you think that when you are wanting to eat, that is pure hunger driving you? I ask because when I want to eat its my head more than anything else that drives me..

I'm sure it's my head but getting used to eating 1/2 cup of food when you're used to a whole plate takes some getting used to. Wouldn't have a weight problem if control was one of my strong points. How do you deal with head hunger?
