I had Dr Elias Ortiz, Dr Lopez trained Dr Ortiz I think that alone says alot about Dr Lopez, he has plenty of experience I was originally scheduled with Dr Lopez but I had to change my date and when I was available Dr lopez was not TJ

Dr. Elias Ortiz is an excellence doctor. I underwent surgery with him on the 19th n I don't have any regrets at all. He explains everything that is needed to kno step by step. Being honest you will get better care at Mi Hospital in TJ than most hospitals in the US.

I also had Dr Lopez and Dr Ortiz. Both were very good doctors and very professional. I meet both the day of surgery and they explained exactly what would happen. I felt like my care with them and Mi Hospital was better than I can ever have in the States. Please don't worry! You will be in very good hands. :)

With my lapband the anaesthetist screwed up and I woke up on the operating table as they were finishing up. So painful! and I keep having dreams about it with my revision surgery in 3 weeks! So did you with Lopez wake up in a normal bed a few hours later? haha x

I woke up in recovery and then was moved to my room. It really was a nice experience with everyone. I was very happy!

I was sleeved by Dr. Lopez at the MI Doctor Hospital in TJ on March 21st. The care was top notch and I am recovering nicely.

Any tips to take anything with me. I am there April 12

Take Gas X strips (those helped me a lot) and a hot pad. I didn't have a hot pad but boy did I want it. Also, a small washcloth (they only had towels at the hospital).
