Finally, something that tastes GOOD!

I am only a few days post -op but for some reason I looked at my allowed list of liquids again. Skimmed milk was on the list! So, I found the NUT's suggestion: 8 oz milk, 1/3 cup dry milk, one envelope of sugar free Carnation Instant Breakfast. Shook it up....it's GOOD! 21 grams per 8 oz. Now, its a lot of fluid to try to get down and drink water too, but I'm sipping sipping sipping.....

I have only found the chocolate and vanilla. Their website says they have strawberry as well. Also, I've been adding unflavored protein powder to this concotion to up the protien as well. :)

Thanks for the help!!! I am going to try this

Rachel, I only have used the sugar-free. Comes in chocolate and vanilla. :)

You have to order strawberry online...nobody carries it in stores! :-(

how many calories does 8oz have?

Sugar free is 60 cal w water or 150 cal w 8 oz of skim milk and 13 g of protein w milk.

If you use reg packet of strawberry, chocolate or vanilla it's 220 cal w skim milk and 13 g of protein.
