Carbs in Quest bars

I have a question about carbs. I have a Quest protein bar 2-3 times a week. The total carbs is 21g, but the wrapper says only 3 active carbs because there are 17g of fiber and 1g of erythritol (have no idea what that is). So do I only count it as 3 carbs?? It's all very confusing to me.

    Erythritol is a sugar alcohol used to sweeten it. As far as carbs I have no idea, I count total carbs.
