Anyone from Connecticut?

Looking around I feel like I'm the only one in CT doing this. Anyone from CT? Not sure if that's too personal of a question just looking to relate more to my area docs and facilities.

I am from CT & scheduled for a sleeve with Dr. McMillan this Thursday at St Raphael's. I had to do the ketosis & it was the worst. I lost 12lbs in 5 days. I am now on my 1000 calorie a day per-op diet. I am nervous, excited & anxious.

Great good luck I lost 17lbs on that damn ketosis crap lol. I cant wait to get my life back

I did not have to do ketosis. I am a week away from surgery and doing a low cal diet. Sooo excited and yet nervous. I went for pre op tests today and my pulse was racing. Nurse kept asking if I was ok. God I hope I am not like that on surgery day.

Just wondering, if anyone is within 30 minutes or so, I would live to have s buddy to celebrate our milestones. Maybe pedicure at 3 month or something like that. It would be nice to get together with someone that can relate

My mother always told me if I didnt have anything nice to say then dont say it all. I will wish you good luck though. We will have to share stories in our journey

I fear that may have come out wrong I feel like I should explain. I LOVE Griffin hospital. That's the only downfall of getting the surgery done at Rays. I had attended his seminar at St. Vincent's and personally having a medical background I did not feel comfortable with the answers I was getting. I was referred to my doctor by several people that used him in the past. I didn't mean to sound nasty I hope I didn't come across that way. And hey we will hopefully be around the same time having surgery so we could go through together :)

How do I feel or were you talking to someone else. Im confused lol

I know. I am a bit nervous on how I will be immediately after surgery. Will I be nauseous, throwing up, weak, in alot of pain & discomfort? Also how will my energy level be once I am home. Will I be hungry? Just lots of things going through my mind & I know each person is different. I hope I'm an easy case.
