April 3rd Surgery Date

Hi, I'm 53 yr old, 5'2", 255lbs, 46 BMI, want to lose 130-140 lbs. currently scheduled with Dr. Daryl Stewart for a DS instead of VSG. Having second thoughts about the DS, but am afraid of not losing all the weight AND regain. I'd appreciate your input.

Have u had ur surgery yet? I would say the DS for that much weight loss. My mom just did the DS 2 wks ago. More invasive but more drastic long term results. Dr Stewart is a pro at these too!! That's my mothers dr as well! She did have a drain and stayed 3 nights. It was harder than she thought but each day getting easier!!
