Day 3

I'm 3 days post op and so uncomfortable!! I wouldn't call this pain but it is very uncomfortable. Any advise??

Thats about when I started expressing all my gas. Gas-X strips are your friend as well as your regular antacids! It will get better, just walk more!

Thanks. Walking really does help! I just wish the gas would pass instead of sitting in my chest the way it is.

I found that rocking when I couldn't walk also helped. I felt silly doing it but I didn't care because it helped ease the pressure. The girl who shared my hospital room had a bad time because she didn't move around at all, so I think any form of movement helps. ☺ Good luck!
