I have a 10:00 appt in the hospital for pre op. testing. What does the testing consist of??

Wow - I had to get all sorts of testing done MONTHS before surgery: Cardio stress test, pulmonologist's exam (sleep study), psych evaluation. There were required by my insurance and by the doctor before approval for surgery.

This close to your surgery date, it's probably just blood work.

I had all of the test you mentioned months ago too (needed them for insurance approval)

Hi I had preops yesterday. Lots of bloodwork, answering a lot of health questions, chest X-rays ,EKG talk to anastesiologist(spelling?) I think that was it for me. I'm in Massachusetts .
