Hernia repair

So I was sleeved 3-6 along with a hiatal hernia repair. Since last night I have had some really weird pains in my chest between the boobs and slightly lower. It comes and goes .... Anyone else have this??? What is it????

I had the repair too. I remember pain between my shoulder and collar bone from the air. I had more discomfort than the other patients had and I got tired faster also. But it wasn't that bad for having the repair and the removal of my stomach. The pain will be gone is a day or two.

My guess is gas or heartburn. I would try to walk and move your arms around to get rid of gas and try Gas-X. Are you on a PPI like omeprazole?

My surgeon said that he repairs hiatal hernias in about 90 percent of patients. All surgeons might not be that high, but I was sort of surprised. I guess it makes sense, though, since excess weight does cause hiatal hernias.
