Please Help! 4 Weeks Post VSG & Stalled

I had my VSG surgery on Feb. 12.

I had lost 20 pounds pre-op (from Aug. 2012 till surgery) and have lost another 12 since surgery. I'm thinking the 12 # is low? Now I've been stalled at the same weight for almost a week. Is this stall normal and if it is do you have any suggestions to get things going again?

I did add in soft foods about 1-1/2 weeks ago, but no real solids for a few more weeks per doctor and nutritionist. Can you all share what you were eating at 4 weeks post op?

Thanks!!

When I saw my doctor 3 weeks after surgery, he told me he did not expect me to lose more than 12 pounds. The heavier you are to start, the more you will take off during that time. Here are my stats: I am 47 year old female. 5' 2". HW 257. SW 241. CW 221. I lost 16 pre op and 20 so far post op. I was sleeved 2/4.

Three week stall is the norm. Search three week stall on here. There are tons of threads. A lot of them have tips on what people did to try and break their stalls. Also what worked and what didn't.

I was sleeved on the 18th of feb, so far I have only lost 15 pounds 8 since surgery, Last week I lost zero and gained 8 ounces once I started pureed food. yesterday I upped my water to 2 vitamin waters and coffee and I lost 2 pounds this am. so I am hoping this will continue, my bmi was low 35 when I started also am short too. Good luck
