post op diet

I am 3 days out from my surgery. I drink an oz or more every 15 min. per my surgeon. I don't really feel full from my liquids. Does anyone else feel like this. Although I do have some sharp pains kinda going up my chest. I'm debating on if that's the gas or indigestion. Although it does not feel like heartburn.

I experienced the same thing and I've never drank caffeine. I think it's out body adjusting! Or Atleast that's how I'm figuring lol I'm making it my personal mission to up the Protein today since I can hold fluids hoping to get rid of this slight dizzy/headache. Haha cheers! And good luck on the headaches! i hated them! How much are you able to take in with your new stomach? I literally tried to have some sugar free pudding and ate maybe 3/4 of it and was completely stuffed!
