Lapband Surgery - Diabetes

I am researching having lapband surgery. I have type 2 diabetes. I see that many have done a 10 liquid diet prior to their surgery. I take 6 different medications for my diabetes and and wondering how others with diabetes manager their blood sugars during the liquid diet stage.

Thanks

My blood sugars were fine during the liquid stage. I was borderline Type 2, on 500mg of Metformin 3 times a day. I was removed off my meds prior to surgery and have never went back on. My blood sugars continue to be in the normal range! Best of luck!
