Try not to be too hard on yourself. The pre op diet is hard. I am not sure what your pre-op diet consists of but mine is for 3 weeks. Two Protein Drinks, a cup of Soup and one sugar free snack.

The first three days I was MISERABLE. I started to feel better about a week out and then I too cheated. I went to a birthday party and just could not resist the grilled hot dog. I was so miserable and devestated. I started to second guess my surgery.

However it was that moment that I knew I needed the surgery it was no longer a choice. I jumped right back on the wagon. I am on the last week of my pre-op and I feel great. The past few days have been so easy. So, basically you will get used to it.

It really is a mind game and if your heart is in it, it will definately win that mind hunger over!!
