Barilla Plus Pasta

Wondering is it safe to try ? I was thinking just a 1/4 cup with a meatball. It is so high in protein and has legumes in it.

my had gastric bypass has no problem...he was eating it 5 months out..be careful and take a little a time..make sure your sleeve is ok with it...

High starchy foods like pasta and breads will expand in your stomach. Until you are at least 3 months out from surgery most Dr won't recommend eating much of this stuff. Understand i'm not saying anyone can never have pasta again just that you should wait long enough to ensure you don't damage your sleeve.

Pasta, bread and rice are filler foods. Even though this pasta might better for you, based on the quantity that you can eat; is it really worth it? Unless you are near goal I say no, wait.
