I'm starting to put together a list of questions for when I meet my surgeon for the first time. What are some things I should ask or things you wish you would have asked or known before surgery.

There is an entire thread on this subject that covers alot. I just asked about the complications, which they have to tell you about anyway so you will hear it. Also, I asked about pre and post op diets, typical stay in hospital & what to expect. Vitamins and issues post op.
