Question about surgery, Robotic Laparoscopic Surgery

My surgeon says he uses Robotic Laparoscopic Surgery. Is this different or is this the same as everyone is getting?

    This is kind of graphic, but it kind of explains what they mean about "robotic". I've also watched another gastric sleeve video and it's pretty much the same, just without cutting out the band.
