I have read that some people had a gastric tube going kip their nose and down to their stomach. Has anyone experienced this? I think that is the only thing I am scared of.

not sure about that one, but there is a tube from drainage in one of your incisions, it comes out the day after surgery, and i will warn you, it feels very weird when they pull it out. but, all is good. i wouldn't worry about it.

The ng tube is not typically used in sleeve surgery...but ask your surgeon and they will tell you what they typically use (like drains etc.)

i had no tubes at all. when i woke up from surgery all i had were ivs running. No drains or other tubes.

I had no tubes either!

I will have an ng tube for the first 24 hours and then a drainage tube for a week. Ugh.
