one week post op
Just want to get some feedback on what eating is suppose to feel like. I am taking in water; protein shakes; and popsicles. It takes me all day to get down one cup of water; 12oz protein shake and one popsicle. How does it feel to be full?

I will have an ng tube for the first 24 hours and then a drainage tube for a week. Ugh.

last supper
I have been on liquid diet since monday. The first couple of days was really hard but muscles through. Now just getting to where I can tell the difference between head hunger and real hunger.

last supper
I thought this idea was fantastic. I have eaten everything that was not nailed down all weekend and now I am ready for my pre op diet. Tomorrow is the first day. Tonight for my last super my mom made me homemade lasagna and brownies. So ready to not be hungry!

I had two boys as well and W's shocked that the first wasn't 75 lbs and his brother wasn't 35lbs at birth either! Needless to say I kept that wait. I am having surgery March 5th and believe this is a way better option than waiting around for the next diet fad for me to fail at. I have been watching lots of youtube video blogs and combined with the forum I feel like I am pretty prepared for the road ahead. Best wishes! I got insurance approval within one week.

tube aftrr surgery
I have read that some people had a gastric tube going kip their nose and down to their stomach. Has anyone experienced this? I think that is the only thing I am scared of.

I am having the same issue. All my clothes feel wrong. I actually cut a neck of a t shirt this weekend because it felt so restricting. March 5th cant get here quick enough. It really had become an obsession trying to get ready for this.

I think I have been watching to many video blocs of people when they first get home. Makes me worried about getting sick from the pain meds.

Any sleevers in the Rockwall, Rowlett, Garland, Mesquite, Dallas Tx. etc. area?
I am new to the forums. I am spotted to have my surgery on march 5th by Dr. Stephan Hamn. I am in Sachse as well. Has anyone used Dr. Hamn ?
