what's up with ny scale?

So my scale kept giving me 20 different weights when I weighed myself so I went out and bought a new scale. Guess what.

Same thing I get a different number varying by about a 10 lb range every time I weigh.

The kids stand on the scale and they get the same number each time.

I've followed the directions for resetting it, no change.

Anyone else have the same issue? I don't reaaly think I lost 14 lbs over night. Would be nice though!

I think if you are at or near the weight limit, it sometimes is not reliable. I've noticed mine used to give varying readings and I would take the one that came up the same two times in a row, lol. Since I'm down 50 pounds, I seem to be getting two identical readings right off the bat. Also, you can get unreliable readings if your scale is not on a level hard surface.

It's supposed to be accurate up to 100 lbs above my weight and it is level but thanks for the thoughts.

It's just weird

Yes I agree, the closer you are to the limit on the scale the more unreliable. I'm finally able to stand on my scale and get one weight multiple times, I've lost 110 lbs, my scale was limit of 310 so I was 40 lbs over. Now it works wonders. That's probably why your kids get reliable weights. Soon very soon, you will get great numbers...
