Chest pain still bad. Is this mormal?

I'm 7 days out and I'm still having very bad chest pain, especially when I swallow or take a deep breath. Is this normal? Any tips for lessening it? I've been walking, taking Prilosec, and gas x strips.

I'm six days out and my chest still hurts if I drink to fast or to much. Or taking a deep breath. But it is getting better day by day as I learn how much I can tolerate. Hope it gets better for you to. Happy losing!!!

I coughed up a lot of phlegm on day 2. A lot! As soon as I did, I felt a million times better! I read somewhere that was important to do in order to help prevent pneumonia. I still get a little gas pain and just take gas x. I also walk around a lot. I drink a little pickle juice that seems to help as well. I'm 6 days out. Hope you guys feel better.
