Carbs & Calories

Just wondering how many carbs and or calories most people are consuming per day. I am hoping to get a better idea of where I should be each day in order to maximize my weight loss. Just started using "My Fitness Pal" again. Hoping this will keep me on track ~ looking forward to your response! : )

Same here

I think I need to tighten my belt. I eat 800 cal & under 70 total carbs. My supplements add about 30carbs a day&then I eat some vegetables with meals.

I was told by NUT not to count calories, but I seem to be around 700 a day. I am supposed to get 60-70 grams of protein & less than 20 grams of carbs. I have found that to be a bot restrictive. So, I try to keep it under 40 grams of carbs per day. I do not count carbs in vegetables & limit myself to 1 piece of fruit per day. I think the more on your plan you are the faster the weight will come off. I am 10 weeks post-op today & down 55 lbs. I know some people who are more restrictive in their diet have lost more rapidly. I would rather lose a little bit slower & not feel so restricted. Good luck!
