Hiccups

I am one day post op and hiccups do not stop. The nurse asked the doctor n she told her eventually it goes away. I am discharge and home now but I still get them. How do I make them stop??

    When you find out let me know !!

    I had them a lot after surgery but they get way better after you heal some more. I still get them if I eat to fast though .,,
