Reflux

Has anyone had any issues with reflux or indigestion since they have been sleeved? Sometimes it feel like my food just doesn't go down or it wants to revisit my throat. I went back to work today and had that feeling all day. I ate one and sucked on water all day. I know I didn't get all my fluids or proteins in but the night is still young. All morning I just had that feeling of the food just sitting there. I called my doctor and he prescribed prilosec. Anyone else taking this.

You'll find that more people take Prilosec here than just about anything else, and yes, a huge number of people here take a PPI after surgery. You should find your issues resolve a bit once you've been on the meds for about a week.

Good luck,

I had really mild reflux. Yours sounds a bit more persistent than mine. I started taking a table spoon of apple cider vinegar in the morning and it went.
