Blenderized diet

I'm in pre-op for a sleeve and my doctor has me going straight to blenderized foods when I get home from the hospital. Has anyone else started it so quickly after surgery? Did you tolerate it well?

    Wow! I had not heard if this. I was one week clear liquids and moved to puréed at day 8. Not sure I could have eaten those first days!

    I had to do 1 week on clear fluids only - now 2 week just starting the puree but very very runny

    this is kind of crazy to me, I have never heard this, but there could be a reason for it. I would be extremely cautious about it because I had a hard time getting in 64 oz of CLEAR liquid and I would be worried about puking that early out.
