Sleeved on 1/14/13

Hello all. I am new here and had my gastric sleeve last Monday along with a hiatal hernia repair. Had a lot of swelling and stayed in the hospital four nights because barium would not go down. Feeling much better since I am out of the hospital but having a hard time getting in enough liquid/protein!

Welcome & congrats! It's a bit hard in the beginning to get everything in - at least in my case, I just wasn't hungry or thirsty. Never had any pain at all. You really have to force yourself to drink. Sip, sip, sip all day so you don't dehydrate. Make sure your get your protein drinks in if you can't eat protein yet. I was so nervous about dehydrating, I made sure to drink...again, welcome!! Lots of good people & info on this site..
