Meeting with Nurse

I'm meeting with my nurse tomorrow one last time prior to my Surgery on Thursday. Any recommendations on some questions I should ask her?

Get your prescriptions (pain med) and get it/them filled before surgery.

How are you doing? Are you home yet?

Doing great! Feeling a little sore from my stomach and some uncomfort on my chest. Heading home as I type this :)

Congratulations! This is so exciting, I'm happy for you/us - it's a journey but I believe quite worth it in the long run.

Thank you! I'm beyond ready for the swelling to go down so I can see the number in the scale go down!

I gained five pounds of 'water' weight in my overnight stay after the operation. It will leave you in a few days - that IV is nothing but fluid, as you already know. Rest and sip, those are your orders for a few days. My recovery from the sleeve was a breeze compared to my recovery from the band. Sleep, sip, rest!

Thank you! I needed to hear that!
