I have a cold & my throat is killing me. I tried taking day quil & my stomach felt like it was burning , so I stopped taking it. Anyone been through this , have any suggestions ?

Not sure how far out you are, but be careful. I would check your documentation, most doctors include a list of what you can have. If they don't, call them this morning and ask. I hope you feel better!

I was told any liquid cold meds are fine. Just check with your doctor if they are anti NSAID. Tylenol cold and flu multi symptom made me feel better.

^{I was told by my doctor that any medicine is okay as long as it's taken with food. So far I have not had any problems. I too am sick right now, I am taking Robitussin & Mucinex}

Nothing with asprin. Tylenol and any 'Tylenol' product should be safe.
